Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Hello Preschool Families!
This week the children have been having lots of fun exploring sensory activities! They really enjoyed finding “worms” made out of pipe cleaners that were hiding in soil. They also enjoyed our Leprechaun soup water sensory bin.
This week, the preschoolers have also been enjoying working on a Leprechaun trap in the hopes of catching him for some gold. Sadly, the trap was unsuccessful, however the leprechaun left some treats, and played a few tricks on them.
This week at circle time, the preschoolers are still practicing their Spanish. Also, Mrs Maria was able to show them some ultrasound pictures of the baby where they got to see a sneak peek of what she might look like, as well as their hand and foot! They were all fascinated and interested in learning how ultrasounds work, that we are able to see the baby.
Parents, if you could please ensure you bring home your children’s art work, their lockers are looking a little full, and ensure that you take items home at the end of each week to get them washed.
if your child has diapers, it is your responsibility to check how many diapers they have daily / weekly.
If your child will not be attending the centre, please ensure you call or email to let the staff know. As this allows us to plan our days better.
Reminders:
- Canteens are held every Friday. Everything is $1, feel free to fill up your child’s “piggy bank”

The last few weeks in our Pre-K program, we have been really enjoying our adventures and summer activities! We had a super hero day where we could all dress up as our favorite superheros/characters and we had a parade to show off our outfits to everyone at Morgan site! We did face painting and also got to design our own masks.
We've gotten very creative and used our imaginations while also enhancing our cognitive development, fine motor skills, and social emotional skills by tracing letters and working on letter recognition , painting our own strawberries, and painting using pine cones.
We have explored many different sensory bins that include beans, sand, hot chocolate, cloud dough, and rice. We've also explored our senses in many different ways outside by playing in puddles and collecting flowers. Our sensory bins really help us to enhance our senses and fine motor skills.
We also had a few adventures such as going to the zoo, going to the splash pad and we had Prairie Exotics come to our centre to show us some reptiles!
We've really been working on our social emotional skills by learning to share and taking turns. We've also incorporated sign language during our circle time to further enhance our communication skills with each other.

Hi preschool families! these last few weeks, we have been very busy. From fine motor skills to gross motor skills we have been doing various activities to keep our minds and bodies busy. We recently enjoyed our bike rodeo, a walk to 7/11 for slurpees, bouncy castles, dance parties, sensory bins, painting, bracelet making and many more activities.😎☀️🍉 We have so many more fun things planned for summer so make sure you check out our calendar to ensure your child is prepared 👍💕 Graduation🎓🧑🎓👩🎓✨ |
