Hello Preschool Families!
Wow is it ever cold! Due to the extreme cold weather the preschoolers have been getting a chance in doing gross motor activities indoors! Their favourites have been obstacle courses, yoga, as well as musical chairs.
The preschoolers have also been working hard on creating some fun Valentine’s Day crafts. They’ve made, lady bugs “love bugs”, heart caterpillars, glued cotton balls on top of a heart and painted it. They are all super crafty, and always very interested in doing art!
Reminders:
- Canteens are held every Friday. Everything is $1, feel free to fill up your child’s “piggy bank”
- Closed February 16: Louis Reil Day

The last few weeks in our Pre-K program, we have been really enjoying our adventures and summer activities! We had a super hero day where we could all dress up as our favorite superheros/characters and we had a parade to show off our outfits to everyone at Morgan site! We did face painting and also got to design our own masks.
We've gotten very creative and used our imaginations while also enhancing our cognitive development, fine motor skills, and social emotional skills by tracing letters and working on letter recognition , painting our own strawberries, and painting using pine cones.
We have explored many different sensory bins that include beans, sand, hot chocolate, cloud dough, and rice. We've also explored our senses in many different ways outside by playing in puddles and collecting flowers. Our sensory bins really help us to enhance our senses and fine motor skills.
We also had a few adventures such as going to the zoo, going to the splash pad and we had Prairie Exotics come to our centre to show us some reptiles!
We've really been working on our social emotional skills by learning to share and taking turns. We've also incorporated sign language during our circle time to further enhance our communication skills with each other.

Hi preschool families! these last few weeks, we have been very busy. From fine motor skills to gross motor skills we have been doing various activities to keep our minds and bodies busy. We recently enjoyed our bike rodeo, a walk to 7/11 for slurpees, bouncy castles, dance parties, sensory bins, painting, bracelet making and many more activities.😎☀️🍉 We have so many more fun things planned for summer so make sure you check out our calendar to ensure your child is prepared 👍💕 Graduation🎓🧑🎓👩🎓✨ |
