What we've been up too!
March 30 - April 2
Hello School Age Families!
On Monday we started off the week by making keychains, and little critter sensory jars. The school agers were very interested in creating as many as they could. The day was followed up by walking over to Buchanan for a Few rounds of hide and seek! It was a few of our school agers first time, but they all had a blast! Thanks to Buchanan for hosting us
Tuesday we made cupcakes! The school agers all helped follow the recipe, and each had a roll to play. Their favourite part was definitely decorating it with ALOT of icing and sprinkles. They also enjoyed exploring the dry sensory bin that had lil bunnies, chicks, carrots and nests.
Wednesday the school agers spent the morning playing games. During outdoor play a soccer game started up, they all played for 40 minutes before needing break. With the snow hill gone, what little is left is melting and creating a large puddle outside, they have also enjoyed splashing, throwing snow in and trying to break the ice. The school agers also enjoyed helping make bunny lanterns
Electronic day is always a fan favourite, so they got to play their games, and even shared their games with one another.
Thursday they worked on bunny masks, and flowers for Easter. Zootopia 2 was the winner of the movie vote, and they all enjoyed it!

Reminders:
- Your child must have a hat / Toque /. Splash pants, jacket to wear for outdoor play & a water bottle.
- Canteens are till Every Friday! Everything is $1. You can fill up your child's "piggy Banks" for Canteen at any time
- if your child will be attending any extracurricular activities before / after school; please ensure staff are made aware, as well as given permission to walk on there own if needed.
- Call or email the centre if your child will not be in attendance on any given day or after school; as we do wait outside in the field until every child is accounted for
